Built in Django, this project brought together custom development, thoughtful UX, and a healthy amount of problem-solving. We partnered with Jacober Creative, whose illustrations and visual design helped give the platform its distinctive personality, while the custom programming and platform development were handled by Recognition Media.

One of the standout features is Sonny, a custom-built plan recommendation assistant designed to help visitors navigate complex insurance options and identify the coverage that best fits their needs. Combined with dynamic plan management, comparison tools, multilingual functionality, and lead generation workflows, Sonny helps transform a traditionally complicated process into a more personalized and user-friendly experience. Interactive elements, custom user journeys, and content-rich resources work together to make international health insurance easier to understand.

The result is a scalable platform that supports WellAway's global audience while delivering a modern experience that feels approachable, helpful, and anything but boring.
